There is no shortage of top-notch motorhome sites for an idyllic British holiday. Choosing from gorgeous coastal walks, exciting forest adventures, and peaceful lakeside sunsets is a challenge – but do not fret!

We’re here to help you pick your next destination with a selection of the top motorhome sites in the UK. There’s something for everyone on our list, whether you want a fun-filled family holiday or a quiet couple’s retreat.

Before we set off on our tour of the UK, don’t forget to arm yourself with UK motorhome insurance. Not only is it illegal to drive without it, but it also protects your vehicle in case of damage or theft.

WHAT MAKES A MOTORHOME SITE 5 STAR?

After you buy your dream vehicle and protect it with UK motorhome insurance, it’s time to hit the road. There’s no better place to stay than a 5-star site in your home on wheels. You want ultimate comfort with all the amenities and friendly staff to be able to enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

How have we judged the top sites?

We scoured TripAdvisor for the top 5-star-rated motorhome sites in the UK. This means that rather than a select few individuals picking the best destinations, the ratings come from holidaymakers in the British Isles, like yourself.

Reviewers rate the sites out of 5 points and give extra scores based on:

  • Location
  • Cleanliness
  • Service
  • Value

The combination of all these factors makes for a well-rounded analysis of each location. Each 5-star site needs to rate highly in every aspect to keep it at the top, and those we’ve chosen deserve their spot on our list.

Expect to make a stop at:

  • Trevalgan Touring Park
  • Swiss Farm Touring & Camping
  • Old Oaks Touring Park and Glamping
  • Harrogate Caravan Park
  • Langstone Manor Holiday Park & Cottages

So, protect your vehicle with UK motorhome insurance, strap yourself in, and join us on a journey to the UK’s best motorhome sites.

WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY

Love Langston Manor - 5*

“We have been going to Langston Manor in our motorhome for years. Always met with a lovely greeting by the staff. Good size pitches, plenty of fresh water points around the site. Clean and well looked after showers and toilets. Easy walks out to the moor. Walk out in the evening to see lovely sunsets and dark skies. Pewter Tor is very close and easy to get to. The Manor has a lovely restaurant, which lives up to its name Moor Food at Langston Manor. We ate there 3 nights of our stay and could not fault the staff or the food. You can order freshly baked choc au pain and croissants for breakfast, which are great. Well worth a visit.
