For example, the popular Caravan & Motorhome Show at Event City in Manchester scheduled for 13th to 16th January 2022 has been postponed until 2023 due to industry supply chain issues.
Fortunately, every year there are many similar shows in the UK where you can see a wide variety of vehicles from all the best brands. Not to mention looking at all the ingenious gadgets and meeting like-minded motorhome enthusiasts. Here’s a varied selection of shows currently going ahead in 2022 that are well worth a visit.

January
January Motorhome & Campervan Sale
Location: East of England Arena and Events Centre, Oundle Rd, Alwalton, Peterborough PE2 6XE
When: 28th to 30th January 2022
Price: Free but it’s advised to preregister. Particularly as all registered visitors will receive a goody bag!
What’s on: Get your new year off to the best start possible by bagging a great deal at this free event in Peterborough. There’s a huge range of new and used vehicles on offer from a host of exhibitors.
Location: Westpoint Arena, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1DJ
When: 28th to 30th January 2022
Price: Adults £7, Kids free, Dogs on leads welcome
What’s on: If you’re based in the south west then head out for a day of all things motorhome. Spanning both the main indoor arena and across the grounds there are many local and regional dealers represented here. And there’s plenty of catering, hot drinks and food options available for when you get peckish after all that walking around.
February
The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show
Location: NEC Birmingham, B40 1NT
When: 22nd to 27th February 2022
Price: Adult and senior £10, kids under 15 years free
What’s on: The younger sibling of the huge NEC Birmingham event in October, you’ll still find massive helpings of family friendly fun here. And exclusive offers on over 700 brand new models of caravans, motorhomes and campervans. You’ll also find tents and awnings in all shapes and sizes, as well as more accessories and must-have gadgets than you’ll know what to do with. There’s also a variety of free tuition on offer including campervan test drives, motorhome manoeuvring, and even towing lessons, so why not brush up on your skills while you’re here?
Manoeuvring a motorhome isn’t for the faint-hearted, but you can take a lot of the pain out of it by practising. Just remember to have the right motorhome insurance in place to protect against any bumps!
Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show
Location: SECC, Exhibition Way, Glasgow G3 8YW
When: 3rd February to 6th February 2022
Price: Adults £13, seniors (60+) £12, kids under 16 years free, carers free
What’s on: There’s no better place to plan a wild outdoor adventure than this signature motorhome event in Scotland. It’s a great showcase for many makes and models as well as life in the outdoors. It comes highly recommended. Is one day really enough to discover all it has to offer? As well as all the latest motorhomes there’s a great farmers market, kids’ activity areas (including face painting and balloon modelling), holiday park village and towing and manoeuvring tuition.

The Yorkshire Motorhome and Campervan Show
Location: Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate HG2 8NZ
When: 18th to 20th March 2022
Price: Adults £8, children free. Pre-book your day ticket and save £3 per adult. Full time carers receive a 50% discount.
What’s on: From seasoned campers to newbies there’s something for everyone here. Even if you’ve already got a vehicle, there are still over 100+ exhibitors indoors and outdoors, offering everything you could possibly dream of to enhance your hobby. From camping equipment and outdoor clothing to awnings and electric bikes your bags will be full to bursting by the end of the day! There are also plans for a jam-packed line-up of seminars and other activities to make this a fabulous day out.
April
The National Motorhome & Campervan Show
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough PE2 6XE
When: 22nd to 24th April 2022
Price: Adults £5 in advance, £8 on the gate, kids free
What’s on: One of the UK’s longest running motorhome shows offers a great day out with family and friends. But the real fun starts when you book a camping pitch, too. Four nights camping will cost you from £70, but for an extra £20 per adult you can also be part of a fabulous 80s music celebration. Featuring headline acts such as Go West, T’Pau and Sonia as well as a range of superb tribute bands. So, when you’ve spent the day exploring all the dealers and exhibitors have to offer you can don your spandex and shoulder pads for a night to remember.

Location: Stratford Racecourse, Luddington Road, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 9SE
When: 6th to 8th May 2022
Price: Adults £6, kids free
What’s on: It’s not just motorhomes and campervans on offer here. You can also enjoy seven nights of camping that includes a wealth of live evening entertainment. Tribute acts performing as Robbie Williams, Neil Diamond and the Beach Boys, as well as comedy, too. There’s a bar and a variety of food available. And if you camp, the price of your day ticket is also included. What brilliant value!
Camping prices based on two people sharing range from £140 for all seven nights to £44 for just two nights. Additional adults are £15.
The Southern Motorhome & Campervan Show
Location: Newbury Showground, Chieveley, Berkshire RG18 9QZ
When: 13th to 15th May 2022
Price: Adults £5 in advance, £8 on the day, kids 16 years and under free
What’s on: A great value day out for motorhome lovers offering a fantastic array of exhibitors. Why not make a weekend of it by booking a camping pitch, too? Four nights camping will cost you from £70, but for an extra £10 per adult or £5 per child you can also enjoy evening entertainment from the swinging sixties. Headline acts include The New Pacemakers featuring Mike D’Abo, Marmalade and New Amen Corner among many others. And if you want a day out from the site then there are also a range of great value day trips, too!
June
Location: New Forest Showground, Clay Hill, Brockenhurst SO42 7QH
When: 3rd to 5th June 2022
Price: Adults £6, kids free
What’s on: With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee also scheduled for this weekend, enjoying one of our favourite national pastimes would be a fitting tribute to Her Majesty. And what better location than the former Royal hunting ground of the New Forest? This really is one of the most beautiful locations for a motorhome show, offering easy access to the south coast and endless walking and cycling paths. As well as the motorhome show, there’s lots planned for this week including afternoon teas, live music during the day, a big screen to show the coverage of the Jubilee celebrations, and lots of things to keep the kids busy. Make a real holiday of it by camping here for up to seven nights and enjoying four nights of fantastic evening entertainment into the bargain!

The Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show
Location: Norfolk County Showground, Dereham Road, Costessey, Norwich, NR5 0TT
When: 22nd to 24th July 2022
Price: Adults £5 in advance, £8 on the day, kids free
What’s on: This show is a combination of 50s themed live entertainment and activities with motorhomes. What a great mix! To get the most from this retro weekend of jive, dance and rockabilly you’ll want to get a camping pitch here, too.
August
The Western Motorhome & Campervan Show
Location: Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire
When: 19th to 21st August 2022
Price: Adults £5 in advance, £8 on the day, kids free
What’s on: A motorhome show just right for country music lovers. One of the largest camping rallies of the year. So, grab your hat, lace up your boots and get on over there for a great West Midlands hoedown!

The Southwest Motorhome & Campervan Show

When: 9th to 11th September 2022
